Performance

The 2018 Golf features the recently introduced 1.8L TSI four-cylinder. The engine has been optimized for sporty, yet impressively efficient, driving. With a maximum output of 170-horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque, the Golf zippy and confident out of the gate, while the Golf?s fuel economy estimated rating is 25/36 MPG city/highway. All models are available with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic Tiptronic transmission. Additional performance features include a standard XDS Cross Differential system, Servotronic steering system and MacPherson struts.
